With no pull rod to bend or jam up the works, the IP BR2 Retractable Medium Nylon Brushes easily push into their plastic casing and can be pulled out with little effort. The bristles are made of medium-gauge nylon filament that produce a warmer sound than metal, with a little more attack sound. The thicker gauge of the bristles gives them more volume and weight, allowing them to create interesting effects bongos, congas, cajons, and other instruments. As with all retractable brushes, the articulation can be increased by pushing in the bristles so they are squeezed together.
