"This custom guitar is in Excellent condition. There are some dings, dents, scratches, but nothing that would show up in pictures very well. As far as we know, from what we can gather, Mark Childs is a custom guitar manufacturer from Akron, New York. He did custom, sun-etched, very intricately engraved guitars and used some pretty high-end materials. At one point, he did make a guitar for Aerosmith. This is an incredible sounding and incredibly unique instrument. So, if you want to be the object of envy in your band or friend group, by all means, this is the guitar you want - cause they sure can't find another one like it."

"The Childs Custom Guitar Company was started in 2002 by myself, Mark J. Childs. I have been a collector of guitars and have played in bands for many years. I have a great passion for playing, collecting and now building guitars. I have also been selling "Solar Etched" art (which is burned into wood by using the sun's rays and magnifying glasses) since the seventies and I am now applying this type of art to guitars also.

These are custom finished guitars made from top quality parts. The bodies are etched, stained and a durable waterborne lacquer finish is applied. This process takes over 100 hours and sometimes much more to complete depending on the design."
