This is a Used Fender 1969 Precision Bass w/ Hardcase and Pro Setup

This Bass weighs 8 pounds 7 ounces
This Bass' serial number is #272511
All pictures are of the actual instrument for sale

For sale is a vintage 1969 Fender Precision Bass, professionally set up and ready to play. This bass delivers that unmistakable vintage P-Bass tone and mojo, and includes a hardcase and several original components.

Condition & Playability:

This bass has been professionally set up by our luthier and plays cleanly across the entire neck. The neck is straight, and the action is low and comfortable. The tone is everything you'd expect from a late-'60s P-Bass—warm, punchy, and full of vintage character.

The bass has an extra hole on its right horn, where a strap-button for a left handed player might have been previously installed (shown in pictures).

The nitro checking is some of the most visually striking we’ve seen, giving this bass tons of vibe. Very minimal signs of fret wear; the Medium Jumbo frets are in great shape (shown in pictures).

Date and Model recognition

The serial number on the neck plate (272511) aligns with the 1969 CBS era production features.

Green Stamp on neck
5 30 011 B

5 stands for P Bass
B Stands for the neck width: 1 5/8"

Based on our research and online sources, the numbers between the model and neck width codes likely indicate batch numbers and production dates. This neck is a rare exception, showing a 5-digit code instead of the most common 6-digit one. The meaning of the 5-digit code remains unknown.
